The Life I Wanted It To Be

I realized I have not been blogging for some time and ap reminded me too. Haaa~

Well, today I learnt something new. I finally know how to DIY a computer. Tried hands-on while working. They need to assemble don’t-know-how-many-sets of PC for a particular school.  So I take the chance to learn while they do the DIY. At first I just use “eye-power”, observed the steps silently and see how it’s done.

Then Ricky (my manager) ask me whether I wanna give it a try. Of course I said yes. He taught me and I tried to assemble it myself later on. But due to crowds, I can’t finish up my own PC in one shot. I had to serve the customers and while I was doing my sales, another guy finish up the PC for me.

Ok… I know I am in the IT industry. But I can’t DIY a PC until today. I know many guys out there know how they do it donkey years ago and may think it’s simple. But I don’t care! Better late than never! Ha! I can’t say I can confidently assemble a PC right now on my own… but I roughly know 80% already. The rest of 20% is the “wiring” part and they are a bit confusing, but it’s ok, it can be figured out eventually.

I  am wondering how many guys in MSE can DIY their own PCs? Am I the only one who doesn’t  know till today? Hehe.

I would prefer yakun to starbucks

I would prefer fried bee hoon to macdonald’s big breakfast

I would prefer generic, cheap and nice clothings to branded clothes

I would prefer maxwell food centre to any typical air-conditioned restaurant

As you can see, I prefer the LHS to RHS. Not because I can’t afford them (happen to be more expensive) but I simply love my fried bee hoon at any one time. Of course, big breakfast is good too… But I guess in the long run, I still like my been hoon with luncheon meat and otak.

I am a heartland kid! Hahahaha. Yeah, you can call me uncle if you like. Cos’ I am.

I have been slacking recently.

Somehow I feel that when I am busy with lots of stuffs on hand, I tend to manage my time better and more motivated.

What the hell… I have to do something about it.

Found another job which I can venture into. That is, working in IT distributor’s industry.

Ask one of my managers in from my part time job, he said they need product managers right now. Yeah, NOW. Haha. But I haven’t graduate.

After my exams ended on 28 Nov, I haven’t had a good rest.

Straight after my last paper, I worked at Sitex 2007 (IT Fair) the next day from 29/11 to 01/12.

After that was registration of subjects. Woke up pretty early to help Lorna register and of course mine on Tues.

I need a good sleep before I started to do any stuffs. zzzzzz…
